Lemon Tree

Description

While it takes decades or even centuries.
While it takes decades or even centuries to wait for a tree to reach full maturity, it takes only a few minutes to cut down a tree. Cutting down a tree is so effortless compared to planting one that most people haven't noticed the problem of desertification caused by over-deforestation. Deserts are emerging! However, only a few people are concerned about this phenomenon. 

What I did

Lead Artist

  • Analyze the art style that LT should have based on the existing game mechanics and backstory, as well as analyze all the materials needed for the game, including modeling, Skybox, particle effects, and rendering.
    Then, assign the art team members the task of finding suitable materials and checking if they are suitable to be placed in the scene.

Technical Artist

  • Create a very immersive atmosphere and rendering for LR, making a particle emitter with Particle System to generate sandstorms from one end of the map to the other.

  • Similarly, a line track of wind that spins in a circle after being generated in the air is also made with the Particle System.

  • Render the scene with Distant Fog to make the distant scene look very blurry.

  • Change the color and lighting of the free Skybox found in the Asset Store to make the sky blend in with the Terrain.

Scene Build

  • Craft an immersive barren scene for the player using existing art materials and a particle system created in-house.
