Ember

-What I did-

Game Manager

Lead Artist

Level Designer

  • I work in a 5 member team as the game manager, assigning tasks for each member, supervising them well, Setting deadlines, and following up with everyone to ask how they are doing.

  • Led the artistic direction by creating all artwork for the game demo, including icons, UI, character designs, weapons, maps, and scene setups, making a unified style for Ember.
    As the only artist, I draw all the assets Ember needs.

  •  Designed a comprehensive level, overseeing elements such as the number of enemies, enemy locations, map layout, player values, player weapon system design scheme, and player backpack system design scheme, saving time for the program group.
    Considering this is a two-player game, I made the enemies throughout the game very numerous and very powerful.

User Interface

  • I make Ember have a UI-less style, this game doesn't show players' HP and the amount of ammo they have. They only have a backpack.

SFX

  • Developed all in-game SFX and ensured a cohesive narrative for an immersive gaming experience. Self-recorded some sounds from real life.
